Like many of my patients, I once lived with daily chronic pain. Serving alongside the Marines as a Navy combat medic (Hospital Corpsman), my body endured daily abuse to the point where numbness spread down my back and through my right leg. I would eventually be diagnosed with two compression fractures along my spine and multiple degenerative discs. After multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, I no longer could deploy with my unit. My medical experience while in the military made me realize that the human body is a remarkably self-healing machine.
There is a time and place for medications and surgery. Such approaches should, however, be considered measures of last resort. I was blessed to find a chiropractor who helped me regain use of my leg and resume all of my daily activities.
In my own practice, I am steadfast in my conviction that less-invasive forms of healthcare can provide the needed treatment for patients with all sorts of ailments. Through chiropractic medicine, we can help patients with diagnoses that include:
• IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
• “Foggy brain”
• As well as the ever-so-common—and very fixable—neck and back pain
I look forward to meeting and working with you to obtain your health goals.
Yours in Health,
Dr. Cameron A. Stewart
